Group Homes and Adult Day Programs

Training in dual diagnosis; Down syndrome and Alzheimer’s:

Six (6) hour course taught in three (3) two-hour sessions
Taught on-site at a location convenient to your staff
Understand memory loss in Down syndrome
Understand ways to support self-care and positive experience for residents
Understand change in behaviors and mood
Learn how to help other residents understand
Understand the grief process in DS & AD

Cost: $ 900.00 for a six (6) hour training (three two hour sessions) [up to 75 participants]

Additional trainings: $ 150.00 /hour (two hour minimum)

Training for transportation staff
Staff seminars on dementia care
On site staff coaching
Staff coaching regarding one individual’s behavior challenges
Three (3) on site coaching sessions concluding with a written behavior care partnering plan $ 450.00
